Since cdist is now in the official gentoo tree ;-) ,
please help us with a simple and clean system install.

In the PyPi package, the

  • cdist/conf/.gitignore

file is present, which is unneeded in the PyPi package.

Please adapt the release script to remove this file from the package.

Hey Daniel,

no problem, if it is an easy one like that :-)

Regarding the ML: You need to be subscribed, posts from non members are
silently discarded (too much spam came in) - maybe you took the wrong
sender address?

this issue should be fixed when the next release (3.0.2) comes out.
Thanks for the pointer - the packaging stuff is not that well built
up, mostly because we only created the archlinux package from it so far.

That said, improvements in that area are more than welcome.
