Did you have a look at current virtual machine management programs?
Do you also feel that there's no easy-to-use, straightforward
solution out there?
My try to fix that problem is named [[creature|software/creature]].
It's still in it's early design phase, but digging through the
README and the code can give you an impression of where it directs to.
